PHILANTHROPY.

The Pula Group Gives Back

Pula’s philanthropic initiatives fully reflect the Stith Doctrine. Philanthropy the Pula way is about bringing added value to the communities and countries in which we do business. As we do well as a company, we believe we have an obligation to do good.

Philanthropy the Pula way values a holistic approach to bringing added value to the communities and countries in which we are anchored. That means giving in a way that contributes to the full spectrum of human potential – from human development to community development.

In short, the Pula approach to philanthropy is to build collaborations and partnerships; the goal is to build healthy, thriving, prosperous communities.

In addition to providing a hand up, philanthropy is ultimately hands on. Pula Group chairman, Ambassador Charles Stith is the non-executive board chair of the Johannesburg-based African Presidential Leadership Center and is a board member of the Jakaya Kikwete Foundation based in Dar es Salaam.
